Red & White

All about a trip to Borders and purchasing a book titled ' Making Journals by Hand' by Jason Thompson. It is a fabulous book. The stamping on this spread is done with the two ends of a cut dried up old parsnip which sat on my kitchen window sill for about a week. No parsnip lovers here.

With this page I have copied Leslie's use of a checker-board background. I have gessoed over the background to write on. The written entry is from an old magazine, 1921, it dictates to young women how to be a 'Social Sucess'. Oh Pahleeze!!

No Place Like Home

Absolutely nothing like my home, I live on five acres of Aussie bushland.

I always forget the ideas I come up with so it is a good idea to get them down into my journal as soon as I can.

A bit of fun with some French Poodles.

26 years

We celebrated our 26th Wedding Anniversary on May 25th this year.

Yes she is my very best friend. Lily is an eight year old Jack Russell Terrier cross.
Her personality is so cute.

My Dad and I went to the cinemas to see this movie. My House In Umbria. I adore Maggie Smith as an actor and she was fabulous in this movie.

Black on white

A page of black on white doodling. The world, armadillo and the dog are cut from a magazine and the rest of the doodling is my work.

Everyday Things

This is the cover of my 1st 2005 journal. The background is watercolour pastels. The froggie is my journal guardian.

I am completely new at this blog biz. I just joined up so I could make a comment
on a favourite blog that I visit regularly. I can use this place to show my journal pages.
