I believe you about it tasting better in a china cup - specific dishware seems to make things taste different to me, also.I really like your drawing. The color of purple that you've used is absolutely GORGEOUS.
Hi Misa, thanks for taking a look and commenting on my blog. The purple is a Derwent watercolour pencil. My daughter bought for a set for me. They come in a plastic, half clear / half aqua coloured oblong shaped canister and are called Watercolour Pod. The colours are intense and yes they are gorgeous.
The label especially is very well done - I feel like I could just grab this jar straight off the shelf - well done.
Mmmmm ... my favourite coffee and very tastily rendered. I like the glints on the glass and the colours of the label are very true to life. You might like to try curving the writing on the label to match the curve of the jar to add to the three dimensionality.
WOW!!! This is beautifully done!!! Love the composition too!
Clare,I really enjoy your blog. Your style is so unique and interesting. The combination of sketching, "collaging" etc. creates a lot of interest.
I really like this drawing, and I enjoyed reading your blog, I really like your journals. I also looked at your cloth doll photos--the dolls are great! In addition to starting to draw again, I am also starting to make cloth dolls, something I have been reading and thinking about for close to thirty years...I am loving both (dolls and drawing).I especially liked the beautifully dressed fox, but all were wonderful.I don't have a blog yet, my email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
I like it ... the coffee in the pretty mug looks good enough to drink LOL!
