Good for you! More than 5 years ago, I listened to many people who said that a small sketch each day is the best/only way to really train your eye/hand coordination, and I've never stopped!
Thank you for leaving so many kind comments on my recent blog posts :-) To answer your question, illustrating children's story books is not something I do... YET. I am in accounting at the moment, of all places. But illustrating is what I would have loved to do most, and the more time passes, the more I feel it's what I should be doing. Good for you for drawing every day . . . it is so rewarding in a number of ways!! And your owl is wonderfully rendered!!
Yay for everyday! Well done! I love owls...except for the giant ones in our backyard....big enough to take our cat if we're not careful!
